01 · About
A bit about how I work
## currently
- Based in
Minas Gerais, Brazil— finishing a degree in Software Engineering while working full-time. - Completed FIAP's
C# Expertprogram in early 2025, going deeper on back-end fundamentals and architecture. - Hands-on experience in insurtech: integrations, performance work, and modernizing legacy systems for the insurance and financial sector.
## how I use AI
I use tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code deliberately, as productivity aids —
the technical decisions stay mine. What I care about most is understanding the why
behind a bug or a business rule before touching code, and using logs, metrics and
observability to check whether a fix actually worked, instead of assuming it did.
02 · Journey
Career timeline
Kept the way I track changes in code, not on a résumé — a running log of commits. Figures are left out of the diff on purpose; the blocks show relative level only.
-

Joined General Claims
Started as Full Stack Developer, working across three product squads.
-
First raise
Performance recognition, with expanded responsibilities.
-
Second raise
Tied to owning integrations and more technical decision-making.
-
Left General Claims
Cycle complete — time to take on a bigger scope elsewhere.
-

Joined Grupo MAG — via Vital Consulting
New role, new range — stepped up as Full Stack Developer on insurance B2B integrations.
-
In progress
Growing toward a mid-level (PL) role — certifications, deeper Azure and architecture practice, on the path to Senior.
03 · Notes
Two things I keep coming back to
#Do not wait to be shaped by the world — sculpt yourself.
#Challenges forge the programmer within.
#When the code breaks, explain it to something that can't argue back.
